……
beyond that maximum, tunneling time stays the same regardless of barrier thickness. This would imply that once maximum tunneling time is reached, tunneling speed will increase without limit as barrier thickness increases.
……
题目:
The passage implies that if tunneling time reached no maximum in increasing with barrier thickness, then
A. tunneling speed would increase with barrier thickness
B. tunneling speed would decline with barrier thickness
C. tunneling speed would vary with barrier thickness
D. tunneling speed would not be expected to increase without limit
E. successful tunneling would occur even less frequently than it does
D. tunneling speed would not be expected to increase without limit
……
The broader, classical definition is that a service is an intangible something that cannot be touched or stored. Yet electric utilities can store energy, and computer programmers save information electronically. Thus, the classical definition is hard to sustain.
The United States government’s definition is more practical
……
题目:
2. In comparing the United States government’s definition of services with the classical definition, the author suggests that the classical definition is
A. more pragmatic
B. more difficult to apply
C. less ambiguous
D. more widely used
E. more arbitrary
A. pheromones are perceived consciously. (A推出了C)
